The Workout

Exhausted and sweaty, Stef grinned with pride at her new high score before switching off the game system and grabbing a big glass of water. She’d been playing Dance Central for a solid two hours, and she’d finally mastered one of the harder routines. A perfect score, start to finish.

She paused for a moment in front of the bathroom mirror before getting in the shower. She’d lost so much weight she’d have to buy new clothes soon. Life is hard, she thought with a chuckle.

Her coworkers were starting to notice the change. “Have you been working out?” asked Jason at the office next day. “I’ve never seen you in the company gym. Do you play any sports?”

Stef just shrugged. “All I do in my spare time is stay home all day playing video games.”
